Nurse for Short-Term Care in Uppsala

Location: Uppsala MunicipalityEmployment Rate: 90-100 % (38.15 /week)Working Hours: Daytime, duty every 5th weekendPeriod: 2026-01-15 - 2026-03-31 with a chance of extension

Do you want to work in a varied and meaningful role where your skills truly make a difference? We are now looking for a licensed nurse for a short-term care facility in Uppsala, where you will work closely with patients in a safe and professional care environment. As a nurse in short-term care, you have a central and independent role as the responsible nurse for care. You will meet patients from 17 years and up, often in a transitional phase after hospitalization, where your work contributes to safety, recovery, and ongoing planning.

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed nurse with at least 2 years of professional experience
• Thrives in an independent role but also appreciates teamwork
• Has good knowledge of SBAR and works in a structured and patient-safe manner
• Has current CPR training
• Has very good knowledge of Swedish
• Has experience from Uppsala Municipality's operations and the LifeCare journal system (meritorious and requested)
• Is confident in your professional role and takes responsibility
• Is a quick learner and solution-oriented
• Is flexible and adaptable in new environments
